Ajay Walia began his photography career in 1984 and trained at Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi, later adding advanced credentials in animation and multimedia (MAAC). Over three decades he has photographed for brands including TATA Ceramics, Himalaya, PC Jewellers, Hindware and NDTV — across product, food, jewellery, garment and advertising photography.

He has also taught the craft: faculty roles at DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation), Kurukshetra University and Lala Lajpat Rai Vocational Management College.
